Carriage House – South Boston Development
SOUTH BOSTON, MA
Ground-up new development of a high-end 2,500 SF carriage house inclusive of a three-car garage with roof deck that ties into the existing two-family structure. (7-month timeframe)
- Pre-construction and onsite management determined several faults within preexisting drawings that were remediated prior to installation saving client time and money
- Coordinated very logistically challenged footing/foundation placement – this was completed in (15) separate placement sequences
- Framing of entire structure including complicated dormer windows and roof structure
- High-end slate roof installation
- Installation of Pella windows
- Installation of 20-foot garage door and 8-foot garage door
- New underground plumbing and electrical tied into existing structure
- New 3-zone central heat and air conditioning system installed minimizing soffits
- New Hardie siding installed on new and existing structure as well as replacement of old windows
- Installation of two custom bathrooms and kitchen
